Pennsylvania Sees Rash Of Running Car Thefts

In Pittsburgh Today 3 running cars were stolen on one street in 20 minutes. There’s were watching as the owners started their car to warm it up and returned back inside their home.

across the state more than 800 cars are stolen each years when keys are left in unlocked running vehicles.

In many high crime areas it is illegal to leave your car running  if it’s not attended and results in fines for violations.

PSP remind owners that leaving your car running, unattended with keys inside or unlocked overnight is an investigation for theft.
