Law Enforcement Polar Plunge Planned

ERIE COUNTY: Polar Plunge for Special Olympics.

The PA Law Enforcement Torch Run will be sponsoring the 3rd Annual Erie Polar Plunge benefiting Special Olympics on November 18, 2017 at noon at Presque Isle Sate Park. Last year there were over 600 participants, and we raised over 71K for Special Olympics. We are hoping for 750 plungers this year. The Law Enforcement Torch Run has designated Special Olympics as their charity of choice. If you go the web page, there is more information about the Law Enforcement Torch Run, the Polar Plunge, and how to register. http://www.specialolympicspa.org/erie-about-plunge

Please consider starting or joining a team to support this worthwhile cause. “Triple G” (Good Guys in Gray) is the PSP Troop E Team; they will lead the first wave of plungers. Right here in Erie County, there are more than 300 athletes participating in Special Olympics programs. All training and competition opportunities are provided free of charge to the athletes and their families.
