Teavana To Close 379 Stores

SAY GOODBYE TO Teavana – Starbucks will close all 379 specialty tea stores, including 3 in the valley, by Spring 2018. This will impact 3,300 workers nationwide.

The specialized tea store designed in Starbucks style was popular for about a minute but never made the numbers the corporation wanted and was unable to grow as projected.

eavana is an American tea company with locations throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Middle East.[1] On December 31, 2012, Starbucks acquired Teavana in a deal with an estimated value of $620 million.[2] On July 27, 2017 the company’s parent, Starbucks, announced the full closure of all Teavana retail locations, to be completed by spring 2018.
